Meet Dr. Tom Shao
Principle Dentist
Dr. Tom Shao is the principal dentist at Vogue Dental Studio on the Gold Coast. With over 12 years of experience and credentials including a Bachelor of Oral Health (DentSci) and a Graduate Diploma in Dentistry, he specializes in reconstructive and cosmetic dentistry. Trusted by celebrities, athletes, and actors, Dr. Shao is known for delivering exceptional care and outstanding results.
Committed to excellence, he continually enhances patient outcomes, leads training seminars across Australia, and participates in national and international conferences to stay at the forefront of modern dental practice. At Vogue Dental Studio, he combines expert skills with the latest technological innovations to ensure every patient receives top-quality care.
Outside work, Tom enjoys spending time with his wife Emma and their one-year-old son Santiago, as well as cycling and playing golf.

Associate Dentist
Dr. Jenny has been immersed in the dental industry since leaving high school, turning a lifelong passion for oral health into a career she truly loves. With a strong focus on preventative care and aesthetic dentistry, she is dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles that last. What she finds most rewarding is empowering patients with the knowledge and habits needed to maintain their oral health long after they leave the chair. When she's not in the clinic, Dr. Jenny enjoys staying active at the gym, unwinding by the beach, spending quality time with friends and family, and exploring new restaurants.

Clinic Manager & Treatment Coordinator
Cara is the friendly face at reception and the go-to person for organising appointments and coordinating treatment. She helps keep the clinic running smoothly and makes sure every patient feels comfortable and supported from the moment they arrive.Outside the clinic, she loves soaking up the sunshine, going on bike rides with her partner, discovering great food and drinks, and taking time to unwind and recharge.
Senior Dental Assistant
Hayley is a Senior Dental Assistant at Vogue Dental Studios who supports Dr. Tom during procedures and helps patients feel comfortable and cared for. With two years of experience, she assists chairside, prepares treatment rooms, maintains records, and handles sterilisation. She also supports lab work, including custom splints, retainers, and mouthguards, and is involved in Dr. Tom’s 3D training courses. Known for her reliability and attention to detail, Hayley enjoys beach days and spending time with her cats outside of work.
Dental Assistant
Kenya is a Dental Assistant at Vogue Dental Studios and is currently completing her Nursing degree at university. She’s passionate about healthcare and enjoys making patients feel comfortable and well looked after. When she’s not at work, Kenya loves staying active and spending quality time with friends and family.
Dental Assistant
Amy is a dental assistant with five years of experience working in dentistry in the UK. She takes pride in providing supportive, patient-focused care. Her passion for travel brought her to Australia, where she’s enjoying exploring new places and making the most of life by the beach. Outside of work, Amy loves spending time with friends and embracing new adventures.
