What we are doing

We are following government recommendations and guidelines and carefully proceeding with procedures and methods that will maintain the safety levels above and beyond. #responsibleaesthetics

One on one video and in-house consultations with Dr Dee are still available.

We are here to answer calls, emails and messages between our trading hours, as well as social media messages throughout the day. Voicemails and inquiries outside business hours will be followed up within 1-2 business days.

If you require urgent, medical attention outside of our trading hours, please contact the 24 hour emergency dental clinic or your local GP.

As always, we continue to practice hygiene measures to minimize risks for our patients and colleagues. Our hygiene, sanitation, and disinfection procedures adhere to all relevant health standards. In addition to our standard practices, we have elected to include additional actions at this time whilst following our responsible COVID-19 Plan.

Standard procedures

We have consistently maintained high standards for the control of transmission of infections. This includes:

  • Sterilisation of all instruments

  • Thorough cleaning of clinical areas between patients

  • Use of appropriate personal protective equipment by all staff

Additional procedures

To further safeguard our practice from viral transmission, we have introduced additional measures.

  • All visitors to check in via QR code or Visitors Tracking Sheet

  • Increased periodic sterilization of all public areas, including reception, waiting room doors and handles

  • x3 Daily staff temperature checks and symptom monitoring are performed throughout the day

  • Contactless temperature checks points for all patients, delivery drivers and visitors

  • Skeleton staff to minimize foot traffic

  • COVID-19 verbal screening of all patients

  • Scheduling appointments with time buffer to limit the number of people in the waiting room at the same time

  • Scheduling Emergency Only patients

  • All staff wearing appropriate PPE

  • Maintaining social distancing protocols

  • Donating supplementary medical supplies and equipment to hospitals that need it the most

Please do not be alarmed when seeing our staff members wearing masks and PPE. This is for your own safety. All patients must attend their appointments wearing a face mask.

We also ask that you are patient with us. It is a very tricky time and our front desk coordinators will ask you the same questions over and over again. We understand this must be frustrating but please bear in mind it is for your safety.

What we're asking of you

We ask that all patients respect the self-isolation recommendations asserted by the Australian government and please be patient with our staff.

As part of our COVID-19 Screening, all patients will be asked the following questions multiple times (when booking their appointment and a day before their appointment is scheduled). We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.

  • Have you or a close contact travelled overseas or interstate in the past 14 days?

  • Do you or a close contact have minor cold or flu like symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, or shortness of breath?

  • Have you had any contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days?

  • Have you been tested for COVID-19 in the last 30 days? If yes, what was the status?

  • Have you been in isolation in the last 30 days? If yes, for what reason?

Please note that we are happy to reschedule all appointments with no cancellation fee if you are affected by COVID-19.

At your appointment, we ask that you:

  • Attend your appointment alone. If you bring a companion, they are to wait in the car during the appointment unless you are a minor. Parents - we ask that you please don't bring your children to your appointment unless they are being seen as well.

  • Please call us when you have arrived and we will check you in. Please wait in your car and we will call you when the dentist is ready to see you.

  • Upon entering, you must check in with a QR code or Visitors Tracking Sheet and take an immediate contactless temperature check

We continue to offer virtual consultation appointments via video call.
