Keira Maguire

Being frequently in the spotlight, Keira knew her smile was a dominant feature and wanted to look her best all the time. Keira noted that her old veneers done elsewhere were too short and bulky for her facial features. After extensive research, she came to Dr Dee for a smile makeover completed with x10 Picasso Porcelain Veneers.

About Keira

Keira Maguire is a reality TV star frequenting the scenes of The Bachelor, Bachelor In Paradise Season 1, I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, and again on Bachelor In Paradise Season 3.

Keira's Concerns

  • Old composite veneers done elsewhere

  • Bulky shapes and lack of symmetry

  • Colour and staining

  • Short sizes

Keira's natural teeth had been chipped and filed, which prompted her to get composite veneers. After watching herself on TV, Keira noted that she wasn't happy with her composite veneers in both colour and shape, feeling that they were too short. A self-described "teeth person", she did extensive research before coming to Dr Dee with porcelain veneers in mind.

Keira emphasised that she thought a good smile would outweigh anything else and wanted to make sure she was looking her best at all times. From one perfectionist to another, Keira and Dr Dee worked on many revisions before deciding on a final design that suited her facial features. Keira's smile makeover was completed with x10 Picasso Porcelain Veneers.

Keira specified that she wanted to lengthen her smile.

Keira’s smile makeover was completed in 4 appointments after her consultation.

1st visit: Prep for porcelain veneers

2nd visit: Shade and Final Tooth Position measurements

3rd visit: Try in and cement porcelain veneers

4th visit: Review, clean, removal of excess glue and lower whitening to match up the shade

Keira comes back every 3-6 months for her check up and clean appointments. She maintains her lower shade with a home whitening kit.
