The Gold Coast Denture Experts

Vogue Dental is the Gold Coast’s leading dentistry clinic for complete and partial dentures.  Our dentists are experienced in restorative and cosmetic treatments, working closely with the prosthodontist to create a set of prosthetic teeth that seamlessly and comfortably replace natural teeth.

Our goal is to match your new dentures with your natural teeth, mouth, and face so that the end result looks as natural and genuine as possible.

Book your consultation with Vogue Dental for a comprehensive analysis, a detailed treatment plan, and all the best dentures Gold Coast has to offer.

Complete or Partial Custom Denture Solutions

Dentures are designed to replicate the function of your missing natural teeth so that you can eat and speak with ease, while preventing any remaining natural teeth from shifting. There are two main types of dentures: complete and partial.

Complete dentures fully replace your natural teeth with a set of acrylic or porcelain teeth that support your mouth and gums. A partial denture replaces a few missing teeth, filling the gaps between them. To work out whether you’re best suited to complete or partial dentures, it’s best to get started with a consultation.

Remaking a Smile: How We Make Dentures

The Vogue Dental team work closely with the prosthodontist to design and create customised dentures. The Gold Coast dentures process includes:

  1. Booking a consultation to discuss your options and suitability. We’ll create a tailored denture treatment plan and take impressions of your mouth.

  2. Our dentists will consult the prosthodontist to create your custom dentures.

  3. Using advanced denture technology, we’ll create a set of dentures for you to try.

  4. The completed dentures will be perfected with any changes needed, cleaned, polished, and fit to your mouth.

During the process, you may need to make a few visits so that we can make sure that the design, shape, and shade all fit perfectly with the rest of your smile. But it will all be worth it in the end!

Who’s Suitable for Dentures?

It’s a common misconception that dentures are reserved for the elderly and seniors. However, dentures are more common than you would think, across all ages. Dentures are ideal for anyone with significant and untreated gaps, those with tooth decay, and missing teeth.

Dentures are a restorative dental treatment for:

  • Missing teeth

  • To replace teeth removed due to gum disease or decay

  • An alternative to dental implants or bridges

Frequently Asked Questions

Each set of dentures will be entirely unique, so it’s hard to give an exact amount without understanding what the treatment will look like. As you can imagine, partial dentures are often less expensive than complete dentures, and it will come down to how complicated the process of creating your new smile is. We try to be as upfront with costs as possible - once you’ve had your initial consultation, we’ll give you a full outline of work required and costs.

A complete set of dentures will last 5–10 years and longer with the right care. Partial dentures will last 10–15 years. During this period, your mouth can change, which may require denture adjustments.

Once you’ve been fitted with new dentures, we recommend that you attend post-procedure check ups with your dentist to make sure everything feels right and fits correctly.

Yes - our Gold Coast denture clinic offers repairs, adjustments, and maintenance. Whether you’ve had your dentures fitted with Vogue Dental or elsewhere, we can help to make sure they are fitted properly and are not causing any pain or discomfort. Repairs can become more common over time - if you’re experiencing pain or discomfort with your current dentures, it’s important to get them fixed and realigned as soon as possible.

They should be! Dentures will naturally feel different when you first start wearing them, but they should fit and align with your mouth perfectly. If your dentures are causing pain or discomfort, we recommend coming back into our dental studio so we can make the adjustments needed to make sure they fit comfortably.

That depends on your insurance policy. As dentures are a form of restorative dentistry, they may be covered by health funds. However, they are also considered a major dental procedure, so coverage can vary depending on the specific plan.

As a general rule, it’s best to check your level of coverage with your insurance provider. We can help you do this by providing a detailed denture treatment plan following your initial Gold Coast dentures consultation.

At night, remove your dentures and use a soft-bristled brush and nonabrasive denture cleaner to clean them (don’t use toothpaste!). Leave your dentures to soak overnight to reduce staining and remove stubborn food and plaque. It’s also good practice to drink water regularly during the day and rinse your mouth and dentures after each meal to reduce the chance of discolouration and bacteria building up.
