Jacqui, born with Ectodermal Dysplasia, faced a lifetime of missing teeth and dental challenges, causing self-consciousness and difficulty eating. Despite past dental experiences, she turned to us for help, and through a combination of treatments, we provided her with a functional smile, restoring her confidence and ability to eat comfortably.
01Having Ectodermal Dysplasia means that Jacqui was missing several teeth
Jacqui is one of many deserving patients who came through the program in 2022. Born with a genetic condition called Ectodermal Dysplasia (no second teeth), Jacqui had walked around her entire life with many absent teeth. She had gone through much dental work growing up which made her wary of dentists.
Jacqui was self-conscious growing up and found it difficult to eat properly. Through time, all the dental work that was completed in her mouth was slowly deteriorating. That’s when Jacqui came to us for a solution. With a combination treatment, she was given a new functional smile that allowed her to properly eat.
